• Surface design – Porcelain is a little different than most countertop options in the fact that their designs aren’t embedded in the material. The design is sort of printed on top. This means that corners will not show your printed design. This also means if it does crack, which would be very hard to do, the inside wouldn’t show the same pattern
• Lesser resistance to some materials – Porcelain may be a very resistant material, but certain types of materials like ceramic knives may still scratch the surface. It is best to be careful when using sharp material near your porcelain countertop so it stays scratch-free.
