STEP 5: PREPARE FOR THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
Congratulations! Your dream will soon become a reality!
Your countertops are custom-built, so preparation can have a huge impact in the installation result. Learn what part you play to make the installation experience as smooth as possible.
The main focus is your cabinetry, which will support a heavy piece of stone. The cabinets should be completely finished, and permanently anchored. The level and flatness of the cabinets are crucial for proper support, fitting and smooth seams.
New flooring should be installed before so the cabinetry does not have to be moved.
It’s now time to set a measure appointment when a professional measure technician will make an exact template of your countertops, will review design details and will answer all the questions you may have.
After the measure, your consultant will review the details, final pricing and will schedule an installation date with you.
At this time, you can schedule your plumber to disconnect before the installation and reconnect one day after your countertops are finished.
The big day is here and, tomorrow, you will be enjoying your dream kitchen countertops!
